Shipping policy

PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY

All items are subject to availability. In the event that goods you have ordered are not in stock we will contact you by email as soon as possible.

DELIVERY

We aim to process and ship your wine the same day if your order is placed before 11am Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). We ship our parcels through Royal Mail Tracked 48hr delivery with tracking information.

Orders made over the weekend will be processed the following Monday.

Deliveries will be charged at a flat rate of £6.87 (except for Saturday Deliveries) for all orders UK Mainland and exclude the Scottish Highlands (AB, DD, IV, KW, PA, PH) and Islands, Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and the Channel Islands.

We use a courier company to deliver orders. The courier will require a signature on delivery, if you are unlikely to be at home you might prefer to use your work address. Alternatively, you might be carded leading to possible delays or, in the worst case, having to collect from your nearest depot. In the unlikely event that delivery is delayed, due to no fault of our own, we cannot accept responsibility for that delay.

CLAIMS

Claims for breakages or other damage must be made to the carrier at time of receipt and followed up in writing or by email to Hambledon Vineyard within three days of receipt. We are unfortunately unable to offer refunds on orders if we have not been notified within this time period.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron and Maestro (Switch) and payment by Paypal. If you are paying by Maestro you will also need to include the card issue number or start date. If you order by telephone you may also pay by cheque. Please make cheques payable to “Hambledon Wineries Ltd” and write your name and address on the back of the cheque. Cheque orders will not be processed until payment has been cleared.

The total cost of your order is the price of the products plus delivery charges. All orders are positively credit card sanctioned prior to dispatch, so please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct. We cannot accept responsibility for an order being held back as a result of incorrect or invalid payment details being supplied.
