Directions to the Vineyard

 

When journeying to the vineyard, we kindly request all visitors to respect our neighbours and avoid passing through Hambledon village if at all possible. Please follow the directions below.

By Car from London and Portsmouth (from A3):

Exit A3 (Southbound from London, Northbound from Portsmouth) at Clanfield and follow directions for Clanfield. After 1 mile follow road round to the left by The Rising Sun pub. After 200 yards turn right (opposite vintage Jaguar Showroom), and take the road to Hambledon. After 3 miles stay on the road as it bends 90 degrees left by the famous Bat and Ball pub at Broadhalfpenny Down (Hambledon’s famous old cricket ground). Stay on the road and follow for 2 miles to Hambledon. Look out for the blue sign for Hambledon Vineyard signposting a right turn onto a single track lane. Proceed to top of Windmill Down and park up on the left hand side before the black gates. Walk up towards the big green winery building (not the red brick house). Our tasting room is the cladded building with steel framework, attached to the green winery at the end of the track.

By Car from the Winchester/ M3/ A34:

From A34/M3 from the North: at M3 Junction 9 take A272 South. Bear right at 2 roundabouts continuing to Winchester South, then take left hand turn (Morestead Road) signposted to Morestead.
 
From M3 from South: at M3 Junction 10, take A31, bearing right at 1st roundabout and taking U turn at second roundabout in order to turn left onto Morestead Road, signposted to Morestead.
 
At Morestead, bear left on main road (Belmore Lane) and continue to Corhampton. Turn right at mini-roundabout onto A32 (Warnford Road). Turn left for Brockbridge onto B2150. After 2½ miles, turn left onto Brook Lane and then right at T Junction. Follow brown signs to Hambledon Vineyard. On East street, look out for the blue sign for Hambledon Vineyard signposting a right turn onto a single track lane. Proceed to top of Windmill Down and park up on the left hand side before the black gates. Walk up towards the big green winery building (not the red brick house). By train or plane:

The nearest train station is Petersfield station (1 hour from London Waterloo). Taxis from Petersfield station to Hambledon Vineyard take approximately 15 minutes.
The nearest airports are Southampton (30 minutes by car), London Heathrow (1hr 15 mins) or London Gatwick (1 hr, 30 mins).
