Join us for an Introduction to Wine evening, where one of our friendly guides takes you through eight carefully selected wines from around the world. You'll discover what makes each wine unique, how it's made, and how geography and climate shape every glass.

Along the way, you'll pick up simple, practical skills: how to read a wine's body and texture, how to identify a good food match, and how to choose with confidence, whether you're browsing a restaurant wine list or shopping for dinner at home. Sparkling wines, dessert wines and plenty more, all explored in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Hambledon is the Birthplace of English Wine and England's oldest commercial vineyard, established in 1952 on Grand Cru chalk soils identical to those of Champagne's Côte des Blancs. Our range centres on English sparkling wine, with Chardonnay at the heart of everything we do. The Classic Cuvée and Premier Cuvée are the natural starting points. The Rosé and Blanc de Blancs take things a step further. If you're not sure where to begin, our team will point you in the right direction.

Absolutely. Many guests choose to extend their visit with a meal at our on-site restaurant, which celebrates local produce in refined seasonal dishes. You can view our availability in The Restaurant, or during the summer months, enjoy al-fresco dining in the Courtyard (walk-ins only) and choose to dine before or after your experience.

Incredibly informative and interesting vineyard tour of the vines and the wine making facilities together with the cellar! Clive was so knowledgeable making it so enjoyable. We’ve visited quite a few of the south east vineyards and this was by far one of the best! We learnt so much more here and absolutely loved the sparkling English wines produced. I don’t know why it’s taken us so long to visit Hambledon and hope to return soon. Their new tasting rooms and restaurant is an amazing beautiful facility and the service first class. Hambledon should be rightly proud of the hospitality team and most definitely Clive who made our day!
