If you’ve already got some wine knowledge and would like to build on it, WSET Level 2 is a really enjoyable next step. It’s designed to give you a broader understanding of the world of wine, helping you feel more confident with the grapes, regions and styles you’re most likely to come across, and the ‘why’ behind their flavours and profiles.

Across three Sunday sessions, you’ll taste through a wide range of wines with your tutor, exploring the principal grape varieties of the world and the regions they come from. Along the way, you’ll look at the factors that influence style and quality, take notes and build a stronger understanding of how to taste, talk about and choose wine with confidence.

You’ll learn:
• about the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world
• where these grapes are grown and the styles of wine they produce
• the key factors that influence wine style and quality
• how to describe wines with confidence
• how to apply the WSET approach through both tasting and theory

Please note: the classes will take place on three consecutive Sunday sessions: Sunday 6th, 13th and 20th September 2026

£575 per person to include all course materials, 16 hours of guided study time, all tasting samples (approximately 43 wines), study materials, lunch (dietary requirements must be communicated at the time of booking) and exam fees.
