Guided Tasting Flights

THURS-SAT | 11AM - 5PM | £30PP

Discover our award-winning wines, led by one of our friendly and knowledgeable Tour Guides, as they talk you through a tutored tasting of four wines in our stunning Visitors Centre. Wines are poured in generous 75ml samples.

There are fourteen wines to choose from, including four of our own Sparkling Wines. The remaining wines have been drawn from our Cellar Door Shop and include, white, red and fortified wines from Berry Bros & Rudd and Symington Family Estates. There is a diverse range on offer, so this is the perfect opportunity to expand your wine knowledge and find your new favourites for the dinner table!

Our knowledgeable guides will take you through each wine highlighting particular characteristics, production methods and food pairing suggestions. Guided Tasting Flights last about 30 minutes but your table is yours for an hour, so you can relax and enjoy your wines. Why not order a cheese, charcuterie or mezze boards to complete your experience?

Whilst it is preferable to pre book Tasting Flights (to ensure we have a table for you), we can usually accommodate walk ins.

Winemaker's Insight Tour & Tasting

SELECT DATES IN 2026 | 10:30AM OR 3PM | £50PP

Join us as we go behind the scenes and explore Hambledon's gravity-fed winery and learn the process and considerations that go into making our award-winning sparkling wines. This tour takes place in both our winery and barrel room; the latter is not accessible on our public Tour and Tasting. 

This guided Winery Tour will give you in-depth insight to the world of our Winemaker Felix Gabillet, and the decisions he makes throughout the year, including trying some samples from the tank and barrels. Perfect if you'd like a deeper understanding of English wine or are interested in studying Oenology. 

The Winery Tour is led by one of our knowledgeable guides and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The group size is limited to 10 people.

Incredibly informative and interesting vineyard tour of the vines and the wine making facilities together with the cellar! Clive was so knowledgeable making it so enjoyable. We’ve visited quite a few of the south east vineyards and this was by far one of the best! We learnt so much more here and absolutely loved the sparkling English wines produced. I don’t know why it’s taken us so long to visit Hambledon and hope to return soon. Their new tasting rooms and restaurant is an amazing beautiful facility and the service first class. Hambledon should be rightly proud of the hospitality team and most definitely Clive who made our day!

FAQs

The full experience typically runs for 1.5 to 2 hours. This includes a guided walk through the vineyard, behind-the-scenes access to our winery and cellars, and concludes with a relaxed, tutored wine tasting in our Tasting Room. We recommend allowing extra time if you're joining us for lunch afterwards.

You'll enjoy a curated tasting of three sparkling wines from our Classic and Première range. Each cuvée has been selected to showcase our house style and express the nuances of our terroir. Depending on the season and availability, this may include our Brut, Rosé, or Première Cuvée.

Not at all. Whether you’re completely new to wine tasting or already have a deep appreciation, our in-house wine educators tailor the experience to be informative and enjoyable for all guests. It’s the perfect introduction to English sparkling wine.

The tour involves walking on natural vineyard terrain and through our winery and cellars. While much of the route is accessible, there may be uneven or sloped surfaces, and the winery involves climbing two sets of circular stairs. We recommend comfortable footwear and ask that you contact us ahead of time if you have any accessibility requirements.

Absolutely. Many guests choose to extend their visit with a meal at our on-site restaurant, which celebrates local produce in refined seasonal dishes. You can add a table for lunch during the tour booking process and choose to dine before or after your experience.
