Whether you’re spending the day celebrating with multiple generations, with a mother figure, raising a glass in memory of someone loved, or with your children, the best Mother’s Day gift is usually the simplest one: time spent together.
A long lunch with a view, a family walk in the South Downs, a vineyard tour where you all learn something new, or a bottle of English sparkling to share over a home-cooked meal. If you’re looking for Mother’s Day gift ideas in Hampshire, or for a special delivery, here are a few favourites from us.

Special Wines for Special Moments
Our Classic Cuvée Rosé (£46) is the easy ‘can’t go wrong’ choice for Mother’s Day. It’s a vibrant salmon-pink English sparkling rosé that’s bursting with fresh red hedgerow fruits. We love it with sharing boards or for an aperitif, and it’s brilliant with seafood or a spring Sunday roast. If you want it to feel more personal, you can add bottle engraving at checkout and turn the bottle into a keepsake too. If you’re planning a visit over the Mother’s Day weekend, we’re celebrating all mums with a complimentary glass on arrival too.
The Première Cuvée Rosé (£80) is a level up, and a lovely gift for those who prefer their rosé with more depth and a more ‘at-the-table’ feel. This is our flagship rosé, made using the saignée method from our best Pinot Meunier grown on chalky slopes, then aged for more than five years on the lees for added complexity. It’s the sort of wine that suits a special lunch, but it’s also a great excuse to plan one, so why not pair this gift with a locally sourced menu at home?
If you’d rather gift more of a tasting journey than a single bottle, our Discovery Packs make it easy to create a ‘Hambledon at home’ moment. The Classic Cuvée Collection (£88) includes a bottle of Classic Cuvée and Classic Cuvée Rosé, ideal for a simple side-by-side tasting over lunch. For the full ‘range tour’, the Hambledon Vineyard Discovery Pack (£243) includes Classic Cuvée, Première Cuvée, Classic Cuvée Rosé and Première Cuvée Rosé, with a complimentary bottle stopper ~ either pair each wine with a course of your menu, or have it delivered for the ultimate at home tasting tour.
The Finishing Touches
If you’re sending a Mother’s Day gift by post, a really lovely extra is our in-house bottle engraving. Messages are up to 100 characters, and engraved bottles may need an extra 2 to 3 days, so it’s a good one to tick off early. If you’d like the whole gift to arrive ready to go, there are also gift bag options or add-ons like our branded stoppers (to keep the sparkle going for longer).
The Gift of Choice

If you’re buying for someone with a full diary, or who’s notoriously tricky to select the ideal gift for, a Monetary Gift Voucher makes for a wonderful gift, allowing for choice of experience and flexibility on dates as they’re valid for a full year from purchase. Our vouchers start from £25 and are redeemable across dining, tours and tastings and gifts in our shop, so there really is something for everyone to pick from. If you’re short on time, vouchers can be delivered digitally via email, or we offer a lovely gift presentation box and send them out in the post.
If you’d like the gift to act as a plan, date to be chosen later, Hambledon’s 2026 experience vouchers cover a few lovely options. The Introduction to Wine Tasting (£40 per person) is a relaxed way to spend time together and pick up some new knowledge. The Guided Tasting Flight for Two (£60) is a great gift that allows more flexibility and a more casual approach to tasting. The Tour & Tasting Experience for Two (£70) is the full Hambledon day out, taking in the estate, behind the scenes in the winery and the story of the vineyard, with a tasting to finish and put their knowledge to the test, or relax and enjoy a sparkling moment.
If your Mother’s Day looks like good food and someone else doing the cooking, the dining vouchers do the job beautifully. Set Two Course Lunch for Two (£80) and the Set Three Course Lunch for Two (£96) are available Wednesday to Friday, which is ideal if you’re celebrating over the weekend or planning a belated treat. If you want to recreate Hambledon at home instead, a bottle from the shop plus a simple spring menu is a brilliant alternative. Open something sparkling while you cook, create your menu around great seasonal produce, and you’ve still created that time together feeling, without anyone needing to drive home afterwards.
For the ultimate gift, we also offer the Tour, Taste and Twilight Spa (from £148). Made for mums who deserve a full reset, this experience pairs the best bits of a Hambledon day out: the tour, the tasting and a stroll around the vines, with a twilight spa session at The Farmhouse Sanctuary nearby, absolutely indulgent and all planned for you, so no worrying about the details! There are different options available, including a full-day version (£188) that combines the Hambledon Wine Estate tour and tasting with a three-course lunch, then a four-hour evening spa experience with fluffy robes, slippers and take-home goodies included.
If you’re local to Hambledon, the Cellar Door shop is the place to be for gifts that feel thoughtful but easy. You can pick up wine, choose a little something for the table, then add those made-for-you extras that make it more than just a bottle.
The Pelegrim's Pamper Hamper (£284.50) is the one-and-done option if you want a complete package, especially if you know she’ll love a cosy night in. It includes a bottle of Hambledon Classic Cuvée Rosé and a range of Pelegrims skincare products, made with grape extracts from the by-products of winemaking; all wrapped up beautifully. So it’s very much designed around that self-care, put-your-feet-up kind of moment.
Locally Sourced Bouquets

Our partnership with Stone & Stem is back for Mother’s Day weekend, which means Millie’s hand-tied bouquets will be available to add that finishing touch without any last-minute rushing around. You’ll be able to pre-order a locally sourced bouquet for collection from the Cellar Door between the 13th and the 15th of March, or have it delivered to your table when you dine, adding a touch of surprise to the occasion.
If you’re not familiar with Stone & Stem, they’re one of our most-loved local suppliers, run by Millie and her mum, Anne, who grows an ever-changing mix of flowers and foliage, with Millie weaving those home-grown stems into arrangements alongside ingredients sourced from local flower farms. They keep seasonality front and centre, compost their green waste, so they match our Hambledon values brilliantly, and we’re always in awe of their work.
Make it a day: two walks that start and finish at the Estate
Fingers crossed that the weather allows, Hambledon’s own walking routes are made for occasions like this. Work up an appetite, or take in the fresh air after a day of wine tasting ~ even better if you’re local to us and can tie in the walk as part of your journey.
For something short and satisfying, The Digestif is a 2.5 kilometre loop around the estate, ideal before lunch or as a post-tour leg stretch. It takes you along Windmill Down West, with big South Downs views, and it’s full of those little Hambledon details, including the viewpoint towards Mill Down House and the story of Sir Guy Salisbury-Jones’ decision to plant a vineyard in the early 1950s.
If you fancy more countryside without making it an all-day mission, A Gentle Countryside Stroll is a 6 kilometre route with 146 metres of total elevation (maybe save that fact for after the walk!). It’s described as a calm, steady walk with open views across the Meon Valley, and it starts and finishes at Hambledon Wine Estate, so you can time it around a tasting or a long lunch.
Book for Lunch at The Restaurant
If you’re stuck, come back to the thing that matters. The best Mother’s Day gifts create time together, whether that’s a vineyard visit, a tour and tasting, lunch with a view, or a bottle chosen from the shop to open at home while you cook something special. Hambledon makes that easy because everything, from sparkling wine to flowers to walks, can slot into a plan that feels like a treat, a moment to pause and say ‘thank you’ to those who do so much for us.
