Our award-winning Classic Cuvée Rosé is produced exclusively from our own estate on the South East facing chalk slopes of Windmill Down, in the historic village of Hambledon.
The ambition for our Classic Cuvée Rosé is to highlight the quality of the Chardonnay from our chalky soils and then infuse it with red wine made from Pinot Noir to achieve its pale, delicate robe.
"The team at Hambledon make such great wines with supreme care and attention. This sparkling rosé is aged for a minimum of 45 months, giving it depth and class beyond most others. It’s smooth, packed with red berry fruit and long on the finish."

“Loaded with crunchy red fruits, the NV Hambedon Rose offers bright cranberry, tart cherry and red raspberry notes alongside salty and stony minerals on the palate. With a soft mousse and gobs of great finesse, this is best enjoyed now and over the next few years”
Tasting Notes
The strawberry and redcurrant notes from the Pinot Noir combine beautifully with the richer textures of the Chardonnay, almost creating a summer pudding in a glass. We release the wine a little earlier than our white Classic Cuvée to spotlight the delicious lifted, succulent notes of the wine and the quality of the ingredients means that the wine can also age very well and develop into a more serious expression. Behind the delicate blush of the colour, the wine is both refreshing and appetising, rounded by summer fruit aromas, then creamy and complex as the wine flows across the palate.
