Bordeaux Champions works closely with a network of family-owned châteaux across Bordeaux, focusing on producers that combine traditional winemaking with increasingly sustainable vineyard practices.

The collection highlights estates committed to improving biodiversity, reducing chemical inputs and protecting the long-term health of their vineyards, whilst continuing to produce classically styled Bordeaux wines with a clear sense of regional identity and heritage.

Their Estates

Dotted around the Right and Left bank of the Dordogne estuary, these six estates create a classic regional blends in a range of styles, unique to each Château.

The partnership seek out smaller, independently minded Bordeaux estates that are combining classic regional identity with more progressive and sustainable vineyard practices. At the Cellar Door Shop, we're home to bottles from:

Ch Anthonic (Moulis)

Ch Teyssier (St Emilion)

Clos Vieux Taillefer (Pomerol)

Domaine de l'A (Castillon)

L'Esprit de Chevalier (Léognan)

Ch Graville-Lacoste (Graves)

Why Bordeaux Champions?

Farming With Nature
The partnership encourages lower-intervention vineyard management across its member estates, consciously increasing focus on soil health and vineyard sustainability. At the core of their goals, however, is a staunch support for long-term vineyard regeneration and responsible land management.

The More, The Merrier
Vineyard biodiversity is a natural successor to lower-intervention farming and, by nature, brings reduced chemical inputs, a more organic approach to farming, and a focus on maintaining healthy vineyard ecosystems. Preserving these traditional vineyard landscapes supports smaller, family-owned estates in creating exceptional wines year upon year.

Waste Not, Want Not
Across partner wineries, thoughtful resource management is strongly encouraged, with support for lower-impact viticultural and cellar practices, as well as a focus on quality of output rather than quantity.

Social Responsibility
At its heart, the partnership supports independent, family-owned Bordeaux producers- helping to preserve regional identity and smaller-scale viticulture in one of the world's most famous wine regions. This emphasis on sustainability encourages transparency and long-term care for their vineyard sites and the planet.
