Join us this harvest for a specially created vineyard tour for Harvest 2024, and experience the electric atmosphere of harvest, from the comfort of our Cellar Door.
Starting in our Hambledon-branded Grenadier, you’ll be taken on a drive around our English vineyard, to give a full insight into the journey our wines go through, from grape to glass- enjoying beautiful autumnal views of the South Downs- without having to venture into the English weather.
Then, you’ll be transported to our Cellar Door, to taste the fruits of our labour next to the winery where this year’s vintage is being pressed and fermented. Guided by one of our experts, you’ll enjoy the perfect apéritif, with an introduction to three of Hambledon Vineyard’s award-winning cuvées, and we’ll be on hand to answer any questions that you may have.
Followed by a two-course, sharing-style menu, this truly takes you from vineyard to table- enjoying Hampshire’s finest ingredients in curated menus, created to fit the season by our talented team of chefs. Of course, more wine will be available to purchase during your meal.
This limited-experience will be available from 5th- 27th October for groups of up to 4 people at 11:30am, 3pm, 5pm.
*Please note, this event is for a maximum of 4 people.  If your booking is for less than 4 people, you may be sharing the Grenadier vehicle with others, up to a maximum capacity of 4.

Schedule:

This tour is available from 5th-27th October 2024 ONLY.

Tours will run Wednesday to Sunday at 11:30am, 3pm, and 5pm.

Experience Includes:

  • A 45-minute vineyard tour in our Hambledon-branded
    Grenadier.
  • A 30-minute tutored tasting of three of our wines, guided by
    one of our experts.
  • A two-course sharing-style lunch to finish the experience.

Duration: 2.5-3hrs

Capacity: This experience is available for groups of up to 4 people only.

Terms: Our Tours are not suitable for children or dogs.  Please inform us should you have any accessibility or dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Other Information: Please come wearing sensible footwear, as we're a working vineyard there may be sections of the tour with uneven, slippery or muddy surfaces.

Super birthday treat

Had a wonderful day out on the Hambledon winery tour. Our guide was just fantastic, so full of enthusiasm and knowledge about the wines. Looking forward to the new restaurant / information centre due to be completed in spring of next year. Cannot recommend it enough for a fantastic day out.

Lovely wine tasting and tour

We did a wine tour and tasting and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The tour was informative and the views were beautiful.
The wines were excellent (as were the selection of cheese and crackers) and the staff were friendly.
