At Hambledon Vineyard, our goal has always been to provide our visitors with the best experience possible. Whether through our friendly and expert team, our selection of award-winning wines, or our state-of-the-art facilities.
With the gradual easing of government restrictions, safety has become our number one priority, and for good reason. When the time finally comes to resurrect that long-forgotten social calendar, we want Hambledon Vineyard to be your first point of call!
That is why all our upcoming on-site tours and events, starting 14th April, will follow strict government guidelines and be regularly risk assessed with your safety (and enjoyment) in mind. This includes routine track and trace, temperature testing and stringent on-site hygiene measures.
In accordance with the two-metre social distancing measure, we will also be hosting most of our tours and events outside the winery. This means visitors will be able to take full advantage of our breath-taking surroundings whilst sitting amongst our vines - just in time to catch a glimpse of them flowering for summer!
And rest assured, all of our outdoor tours and events will be planned with a spattering of rain in mind. This is an English sparkling vineyard, after all. Marquees will be up and accessible throughout the vineyard to help continue any tours in the event of rain.
With this in mind, we will also have to limit the total number of guests for all of our events and tours before the 21st of June. This means there will be very limited spaces for our Spring events – so we advise you to plan ahead and book as soon as possible so you can secure your place!
All of our friendly, expert staff will be trained in accordance with strict risk assessment procedures. We exercise Covid compliance officer training updates weekly and all our staff are tested regularly to make sure they are fit and ready to teach you all about Hambledon’s superb selection of sparkling wines!
As well as an abundance of the best English Sparkling Wine, we will also be stocked up on plenty of face masks and hand sanitizer at the vineyard and will be spacing out our tours and events so our diligent team can properly clean and disinfect the area before the next group arrives.
So, whether you are planning on visiting to soak up the sun and our stunning vineyard views, learning more about our superb selection of English sparkling wines, or just enjoying some Fizz & Chips by the vines, you can be safe in the knowledge that we have your safety and security, and absolute enjoyment, covered! Allowing you to deal with the really important stuff… like whether you’ll try the Classic Cuvée or the Rosé next.
